How to send photos from your phone to your computer
- Open Raha Share on the phone, add the photos and tap Create Share Link.
- Send the link to yourself and open it on the computer, or scan the QR code with another phone or tablet.
- Keep both pages open. The photos arrive at full quality, with no compression.
How to send a file too big for email
- Email services such as Gmail limit attachments to about 25 MB.
- Add the file to Raha Share, create a link and send it to the recipient.
- When they open it, the file streams straight to them. Very large files are limited by the receiving device's free memory.
How to send files to a group
- Turn on team mode and make up a short code, or generate one.
- Everyone opens Raha Share and joins with the same code.
- Files you send reach everyone in the lobby.
How the direct connection works
- Raha Share uses WebRTC, the technology behind browser video calls.
- Our server only introduces the two browsers to each other. The file then streams between them over an encrypted connection.
- On some strict office or school networks a direct path isn't possible, so the encrypted data passes through a relay. The relay can't read it and doesn't keep it.
What happens to my files?
- Nothing is uploaded to storage and no copy is kept. Close the page and the transfer is over.
- Because it's live, both people need to be online at the same time, like a phone call rather than an email.

Does Raha Share upload my files?
No. Files stream from your device to the other person's over an encrypted connection. Our server only helps the two browsers find each other.
Is there a file size limit?
There's no set limit. Very large files depend on the receiving device having enough free memory.
Do both people need to be online?
Yes. It's a live transfer, so both pages stay open until it finishes.
Does the receiver need an account or an app?
No. Opening the link or scanning the QR code in any modern browser is enough.
Is the transfer secure?
Yes. WebRTC connections are always encrypted. If a network blocks a direct connection, the encrypted data passes through a relay that can't read it and doesn't store it.
Can I send files from my phone to my computer?

Can I send to several people at once?

What if the transfer won't start?
