How to convert a PDF table to Excel

  1. Select your PDF in the converter.
  2. Leave Excel (.xlsx) and One sheet per page selected for a faithful copy of each page.
  3. Click Convert to Excel. The PDF is sent over an encrypted connection to our conversion server, which finds the tables and deletes the file afterwards.
  4. Open the XLSX in Excel, Google Sheets or Numbers. Each table starts with a Table 1, Table 2… label.

How to put every page on one Excel sheet

  1. Under Sheets, choose Everything on one sheet.
  2. Each PDF page is added below the previous one, with a page heading so you can see where it came from.
  3. Use it for long lists that run across many pages, such as transactions, price lists or attendance registers.

How to convert a PDF to CSV

  1. Under Format, choose CSV (.csv).
  2. All pages go into a single CSV file, one row per table row.
  3. The file is UTF-8 with a byte-order mark, so Excel opens accented and non-Latin text correctly.

How to convert only some pages to Excel

  1. Type the pages in Pages to convert, for example 12-15.
  2. Leave it empty to convert every page.
  3. Click Convert to Excel. Only those pages are converted, which is faster too.

How to convert several PDFs to Excel at once

  1. Select several PDFs, or click Add more files after the first.
  2. Choose the format and sheet options once for the whole batch.
  3. Download each spreadsheet on its own, or everything with Download all (ZIP).

Converting bank statements to Excel

  1. Statements with clear table lines convert best with Everything on one sheet, so all transactions form one list.
  2. For statements from specific banks, try the Bank Statement Converter, which recognises common layouts.
  3. Scanned statements have no text to extract. Run them through PDF OCR first.

How do I convert a PDF to Excel for free?

Select your PDF, choose Excel or CSV and how you want the sheets laid out, then click Convert to Excel and download the file. There's no sign-up and no watermark.

Will my tables keep their rows and columns?

Yes. Raha detects the tables in each page and puts every cell into its own spreadsheet cell, keeping the text, font, colour and fill. Pages without table lines are split into columns where the text is spaced out.

Can I put all pages on one sheet?

Yes. Under Sheets, choose Everything on one sheet. Each page is added below the previous one with a page heading.

Can I convert a PDF to CSV?

Yes. Choose CSV (.csv) under Format. All pages go into one UTF-8 CSV file that opens correctly in Excel and Google Sheets.

Can I convert only some pages?

Does it work with scanned PDFs?

A scanned PDF is a picture with no text to extract. Run it through PDF OCR first to make it searchable, then convert it to Excel.

Is my PDF uploaded?

Yes. Table extraction runs on our conversion server, so the PDF is sent over an encrypted connection. It's deleted as soon as the conversion finishes and isn't stored or shared.
