Raha Tools does not upload, store, or transmit your PDF files or any other documents to our servers or any third-party servers. When you use our Free Online PDF Editor, all reading, editing, text manipulation, and exporting occurs entirely on your local machine using standard HTML5 APIs (IndexedDB) and WebAssembly. Your files are physically incapable of being intercepted by us.
1. Information We Collect
Because of our strict local-processing architecture, we naturally collect very little information from our users.
- Log Data and Analytics: We may collect standard crash reports and non-identifiable usage analytics (e.g., page views, standard browser types) to help us improve the layout and loading speed of the website.
- Communication Data: If you use our Contact forms or email us at
hello@rahatools.com, we will retain your email address solely to respond to your inquiry or bug report. - Account Data: None. Raha Tools does not require user registration.
2. How We Handle Your Files
Your uploaded documents are temporarily saved in your browser's local cache (IndexedDB) specifically to allow for fast transitions between the landing page and the Dedicated Editor Workspace. This cached data is cleared automatically once the file is loaded into the editor canvas.
At no point is a network request made containing the contents, metadata, or titles of your documents.
3. Third-Party Services
Raha Tools relies on highly reputable open-source libraries (such as Mozilla's PDF.js) which run locally. We may use standard edge-delivery networks to serve our static assets (CSS/JS files). These edge networks do not have access to your documents.
4. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. If we ever intend to change our zero-upload guarantee (which we do not plan to do), we will place a prominent notification across the entire application.
